Author’s Note- Why is it that I”m always a day late and a dollar short? Anyway if you’d like to play along some Friday, visit Friday Fill Ins. And just as an update, we’re getting our first real snow of the season – by real I mean it’s sticking and probably will snow off and on all day. Of course, it waited to snow until the football team’s first recruiting weekend, but at least my husband doesn’t have to work until tonight. Now on with the questions.
1. Why is it that _________________
Why is it that the older I get, the less I can stand stupidity and arrogance.
2. _________________ that’s what I want to know.
Why do bad things happen to good people? That’s what I want to know.
3. Hold on _____________
Hold on, I’m coming! ( I know that’s a song, I just can’t remember who sang it).
4. _____________ soon.
The holidays will be here soon.
4. Do you ________________
Do you mind if I join you?
5. _______ live ______ laugh ______ love
My husband and I live well because we make each other we make each other laugh and take time each day to express our love.
And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to working on Christmas cards, tomorrow my plans include Christmas shopping and decorating the tree, and Sunday I want to have a relaxing afternoon with my husband.
Ok, I did do some work on my Christmas cards so the weekend is on track so far:)
Oh my goodness…you’re # 1 just made me laugh out loud!!! (And I’m in a library where it’s supposed to be quiet…) Keep on writing.
It’s Saturday, or I would’ve posted on this FFI…Friday just got away from me!
OH man alive I’m gonna throw my hands up in the air and give you a big ole gospel AMEN on your answer to #1?!?!
I know, isn’t it the truth? Lately I’ve been wondering just what is up with people…..
I love these kinds of posts..and I couldn’t agree more with #1. There are days that it seems like ‘stupid’ is out in abundance…then the thought crosses my mind that “if I have a problem with everyone else, maybe I’m the problem…maybe I’m the stupid one.” Then I wave to the idiot that just cut me off so he could slam on his brakes for his right turn 🙂
You’ve reminded me that I need to do Christmas cards. I printed out the list but haven’t done anything else.
Well I think that as long as we try to rise above the stupidity, we’re doing ok. At least that’s what I keep telling myself. Good luck with the Christmas cards- it’s always interesting to me how many I do because it’s the political aspect of my husband’s job that means I should make one for everyone he works with, even though there are only a handful of people he gets along with. Still, I suppose writing “I really wish I could tell you to $)#@ off but since it’s Christmas I’m supposed to be nice so this is me being nice” probably wouldn’t be very good;)
