For my beautiful mother on her 29th (plus a few;) birthday:

You are the glue that has held our family together over the years (superglue, not crazy glue;).

You are my best friend, my conscience, my advisor, my role model and my ally.

You gave me a wonderful childhood and the wings on which I flew into adulthood.

You are as much of a mother to my husband as you are to me.

You are an amazing grandmother and Andrew and Eliza are blessed to have you in their lives.

You’ve been a wonderful wife for 41 years and have given me good examples to follow in my marriage.

For all the support and love you’ve given me and Bill, you deserve every happiness now and always.

I admire and love you so much and can only hope to be half the woman that you are. If I can do that, I will have succeeded in all the ways that truly matter.
