*I thought the grass was greener on the other side – sadly it’s been killed by dog pee, herbicide, ciciadas (how the hell do you spell that anyway?!?)  and asshats.

Robert Downey, Jr. and Robert Duval were in Sunderland today filming a scene for their new movie, The Judge. Our church was the equipment/catering staging area – it’s the second time a movie has visited our town, the first being Mel Gibson’s 2010 shlockfest, Edge of Darkness. Hopefully this movie will be better.

*From the “good timing” department – The lovely Stephanie at Rhodia Drive has gifted me with a Crok Sketchbook! Yay for free notebooks, especially during a crappy work week.

*From the “passing along helpful medical information” department- The best remedy for a bad stomach ache is Twinings Pure Peppermint tea. I was sick all weekend and I’m still kicking myself for not thinking of the peppermint route sooner. In a few hours on Monday, I was feeling better and today I’m back to my old self, thanks to a couple of cups a day. It’s completely natural and tastes like a liquid candy cane, what could be better than that?

* From the “TV-MA- LSV” department: I can’t stand asshats who think the world revolves around them. Sadly, quite a few people I work with fall into this category and there’s nothing I can do about it. Has anyone located Asshat Island on their GPS yet? No? Damn….
