One of the truly cool things about being a devout fan of college athletics is that some of the players you cheer for make it to the big time.  Besides the few NFL players I know, I had the pleasure of watching Jonathan Quick play for our hockey team. A two- time Stanley Cup champion, he’s been an integral part of the L.A. Kings starting lineup and will always have a place in the hearts of UMass Hockey fans.  Congratulations Jonathan, UMass Nation is proud of you!
