As some of you know, photography is one of my passions and I wanted to share one of my current favorite photos with you. I took this totally off the cuff with my Canon 30D — Bill and I were walking and I picked up a random azalea blossom. In the car on the way home, I sat it on the dashboard and snapped this picture.

I was recently in Washington, DC, and I had the opportunity to visit the National Arboretum when the azaleas and rhododendrons were in full bloom. Breathtaking! Thanks for posting your azalea. Brought back a sweet memory.
